Apple Waldorf Tea Sandwiches

Recipe From: Cooking with Paula Deen Magazine
Adapted By: Tammy Ammon
Makes: 56 tea sandwiches

  • 8 ounces of cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tbsp. sugar
  • 1/2 green apple, cored and finely chopped
  • 1/2 red apple, cored and finely chopped
  • 1/2 cup of celery, finely chopped
  • 1/4 cup walnuts, finely chopped
  • 1 cup Colby and Monterey Jack shredded cheese mixture
  • 28 slices firm white bread, crusts removed
  1. Using an electric mixer, combine cream cheese, mayonnaise, and sugar together.
  2. Add apples, walnuts, celery and cheese to mixture. Stir until well combined.
  3. Spread onto a slice of white bread and top with slice of bread. Cut into 4 triangle sandwiches.
