Greasing a Cake Pan
When buttering a cake pan, it is often hard to get all the nooks and crannies. To make it easier, when you are done with the paper from a stick of butter, save it in the refrigerator in a zip-top bag. When you are ready to grease a cake pan, use the paper to wipe the pan thoroughly. The butter that remains on the paper will be enough to grease a cake pan. (Tip from The Rachel Ray Show.)
