Cran-Apple Relish

Makes: 2 quarts

  • 1 lb. fresh cranberries
  • 1 orange, seeded and peeled
  • 5-6 red apples, cored and peeled
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 20 ounces crushed pineapple, well drained
  • 1/2 cup chopped pecans
  1. Wash cranberries thoroughly and drain. In a blender, grind cranberries coarsely in about 2 cups of water. Drain well.
  2. In a blender, grind apples coarsely in about 2 cups of water. Drain well.
  3. With a knife, cut up orange into small chunks.
  4. In a large bowl, mix together all ingredients. Refrigerate overnight.

NOTES:
− This is the perfect side-dish for your holiday turkey.
− Great topper for turkey sandwiches.
