Freezing Fresh Berries
Trim away any green leaves or stems, place berries in a colander, and gently rinse in cool water until clean. Remove berries from colander, and spread on a cloth dishtowel to all them to air-dry completely. Distribute evenly on a jelly-roll pan, and place in the freezer for about an hour or until slightly frozen. Remove from freezer and transfer berries to a plastic zip-top bag. Store in the freezer for up to 6 months. (Tip from Cooking Light Magazine.)
