Lady Brownies

Recipe From: The Lady and Sons Savannah Country Cookbook by Paula Deen
Adapted By: Tammy Ammon
Makes: 1 9x12-inch pan

  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1 cup vegetable oil
  • 4 eggs
  • 6 tbsps. cocoa
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 1/2 cups self-rising flour
  • powdered sugar
  1. Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Lightly coat a 9x12-inch baking pan with cooking spray. Set aside.
  2. Blend together sugar, oil, eggs, cocoa, and vanilla. Add flour; mix. Spread into 9x-12-inch pan.
  3. Bake for 25 to 30 minutes or until toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Let cool and dust with powdered sugar.

NOTE:
− To mix it up, add peanut butter chips to your brownie batter before baking.
